Addition to the “Hotels” section

I have had some people ask about local campgrounds and after looking around, the I think the best option(s) are the local KOA’s (we have some state park camping, but they are away from downtown)

There is a KOA just over the state line in Georgia on I-75 (good if you are coming in 75 North from Knoxville or 75 South from Atlanta). It is maybe 10 minutes from downtown…

There is also one out in Trenton off of I-59 (coming up from Birmingham or down I-24 from Nashville). It is about 15 minutes from downtown.

Two Days of Art….and Music!

The Art and Music of the old original Finster Fest will be coming full circle on Memorial Day Weekend at Renaissance Park on the NorthShore in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

We are happy to announce that besides two days of folk, outsider, visionary and self-taught art…this years addition of Who-Fest will also include two days of extraordinary music…from country to jazz and African rhythms to experimental imrov (or as we like to call it old timey avant-agarde).

The music portion of the festival will be produced by the shaking ray levi society of Chattanooga.  What makes this even more exciting is that the artistic directors of the SRLS (Folk Artist Dennis Palmer and Percussionist Bob Stagner) produced the music for Finster Fest ”back in the day”.
