2009 Time Line/Festival Hours

4/22 (Wednesday) Last day for cancellation and booth fee refund

5/22 (Friday) Early Set-Up, 3:00-8:00pm

5/23 (Saturday) Set-Up, 7:00-9:30am / Festival Day 1, 10:00am-6:00pm

5/24 (Sunday) Festival Day 2, 10:00am-6:00pm

 

Location

Who-Fest [09] takes place at Chattanooga’s most unique urban greenspace, Renaissance Park, located on the NorthShore district directly across the Tennessee River from Ross’ Landing/Tennessee Aquarium and adjacent to Coolidge Park.

 

General Rules

· Spaces are strictly 10’ x 10’ with 24” provided between exhibitors.  Double spaces are available. 

· Some display spaces are on grass and some on concrete, so please bring appropriate weights for tents.  Be prepared for the weather by bringing adequate protection for your booth.

· This event will proceed rain or shine.  No rain date, no cancellations, no refunds.

· Electricity is not provided.

· Pets are permitted in Renaissance Park.  If you bring a pet, clean up after them and keep them leashed (there are “poop stations” throughout the park for proper disposal of waste)

· Security personnel will be provided and all reasonable care exercised, but the management of Who-Fest [09] shall not be held responsible for loss or damage to merchandise or for injury to anyone participating in the show.

· All artwork must be original in design and displayed by the artist.

· Artists are responsible for collecting sales taxes.

 

Applying

Non-exempted artists must apply by submitting 3 photos of work and a short bio.  A jury of four qualified artists and/or art professionals will oversee applications and review them in the order they are received.  When 90 artists have been selected, no more applications will be accepted.  However a small amount of entries may be wait listed until the cancellation deadline passes.

 

Photos may be submitted in the following ways:  1) the may be emailed to winderbinder@gmail.com, 2) photos may be sent with the application, 3) a CD-Rom may be sent with the application.

 

Fees

· Booth Fee $160.00

· Additional Booth Space (10’ x 20’) +$95.00

 

Preferred method of payment is by check.  If you would prefer to charge booth and/or application fees on Mastercard, Visa, or Discover, a 5% fee will added to cover transaction costs.
